The (Let’s Have) A Party Tonight Sessions unreleased EP features original music written by Hap Snow’s Whirlwinds cut at Ace Recording Studios in Boston, Massachusetts in 1960.

The opening track was penned by James K. “Hap” Snow, who also sings lead vocals. “Len’s Hassle,” an instrumental by part-time Whirlwind reedman Len Arnold (better known as Leonard Hochman), is the middle track and an undubbed version of the “(Let’s Have) A Party Tonight” demo closes the EP.
Musicians at these sessions include Arnold, an Ace Recording Studios’ regular, on sax, Art Bearon on piano (unconfirmed), and Snow on lead guitar and vocals. This was the second trip to Ace Recording Studios for the Whirlwinds, who recorded “Banshee” and “Bottoms Up” at the same Boston location in 1959.
In addition, a video of early family pictures of Snow was created a few years back for “(Let’s Have) A Party Tonight” (the screen capture is from Yosemite National Park in in the mid-1980s):
